  • Hi all,

For me this was my very first taste at downhill MTB in my general area so I have done the run quite a few times in the last number of months. Knockmany is a steep forested ascent outside the village of Clogher Co Tyrone. The trails for the most part are very steep and technical with a plethora of slippy tree roots so it takes a moderate degree of skill and care on the descent, The only cons about this trail is the length as it takes only a few minutes to reach the bottom after an exhausting climb. Not the easiest trail to shred with the sheer steepness but a very fun and challenging run none the less. Top job to the lads who built these.

NOTE: The trails on this site have been ridden before, but you should not interpret their inclusion as an indication that mountain-biking is officially sanctioned on them. Seeking permission from landowners is your own responsibility, as is conducting yourself in a manner that is courteous, respectful to the environment, and conscious of the safety of others.
